What programmes do we offer in English?
Bachelor’s programmes
A three-year course of study, which you can start after completing your secondary education.
Master’s programmes
Two-year study programmes for those who have already obtained a bachelor’s degree. Successful graduates will receive the title Ing. (Engineer), the Czech equivalent of a Master of Science degree.
Doctoral programmes
Three- or four-year study programmes for graduates of master’s programmes. Dive deep into research and scientific work.

How do I apply?
Admission requirements differ for each faculty. The general admission process is as follows:
- Select your programme.
- Check the programme entry requirements.
- Check the application deadlines.
- Apply online.
- Provide certified documents:
- certified copies of original certificates and transcript of records,
- proof of English proficiency,
- copy of passport.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee.
- Take an entrance exam.
Application deadlines: Please see the application form of the faculty where you wish to study for the deadline, or contact the international studies officer of the faculty you wish to apply to.
Tuition fees
Tuition fees for each programme can be found in the application form.
All degree programmes taught in Czech and completed within the standard length of study are free of charge for all accepted students. The only condition is passing the entrance exam in the Czech language. The Institute of Lifelong Learning of MENDELU offers preparatory intensive Czech language course for foreigners.
